Mateo McGee: Navigating Transformation

  • Ukhu Pacha Healing & Inquiry Space 1501 Washington Avenue Albany, CA 94706 (map)

A Shamanic Exploration of Adaptation and Change with Mateo McGee

The Invitation:

The world as we know it is rapidly transforming. The tradition of Peruvian Shamanism has declared that we are living in the time of prophecy, known to them as the Taripay Pacha, or “Age of Reencounter.” The elders of this tradition have foretold this time of great change, and how learning to energetically adapt as it all unfolds will hold immense potential for healing (both personal and global).

However, unless we are actively creating space for this transformation, and cultivating deeper forms of awareness about its influences, we can miss much of what it has to offer. This is one of the most important functions of ritual and ceremony. Ceremony provides essential ingredients to turn the many forms of change we are encountering into a hearty and nutritious meal to fuel us through its unfolding.

This day-long intensive is designed not only to create this ceremonial space to heal, transform, and acclimate to these changing times, but to provide you with the tools needed to more deeply implement this space at home in your daily life.

Join Mateo Magee, author of Peruvian Shamanism: The Pachakuti Mesa, for a day of celebration, transformation, and healing through ancient ritual and ceremony. See below for a list of course topics. For more information please contact Mateo directly at
